Julia Carsten

Julia was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN, graduating from South Side High School in 1998. After graduating high school, she went to Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, getting her degree in early childhood education. She immediately fell in love with the campus and the “home-town” feel of Bloomington and will always consider it one of her “happy places”. She has been married to her husband Matt for 12 years, but have been together for nearly 16. Together, Matt and Julia have three “beautiful, crazy boys”: Maddox (10), Jace (9), and Devin (6). To that end, Julia spends a lot of her time volunteering and being involved in the sports that her sons participate in. From baseball to the swim team, Julia fills her summers with events and games. In addition to this, Julia loves doing anything that involves family and friends. Whether that be enjoying a weekend at the family’s lake house, curling up and watching a movie, or doing crossfit, Julia loves being with people. Julia derives personal satisfaction in helping others understand the home buying process and getting them to feel comfortable and at ease. She knows how stressful the process can be and strives to make sure that her clients are given the proper knowledge to make informed decisions during the process and loves to follow up with them after they’ve bought the home. Any day where Julia can build new, lasting relationships with people is a wonderful day.
